Georgia B. Lynch was born to George and Barbara (Higgins) Lynch on May 20, 1931, in Dawson Township, IA. Her father died in 1935, shortly after her youngest brother, John, was born. Her mother then raised Georgia and her 9 siblings in Grand Junction, Iowa during the Depression. The family lost oldest son, Paul, in 1942, when his ship, the U.S.S. Wasp, was torpedoed off Guadalcanal.

Georgia graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1949 and followed her sisters to Omaha looking for a post high school job. There, she went to work in the offices of the Wright and Wilhelmy Co. Georgia met her husband, Art, at a St. Patrick's Day Dance in Omaha. They were married on April 26, 1952 at St. Cecilia's Cathedral in the Our Lady of Nebraska Chapel. "Art and Georgie" Ragole raised 3 sons in the Cathedral parish and supported numerous school youth activities and Cub Scouts events.

Georgia's bake goods were always present and in demand. She went back to work part-time at Addressograph/Multigraph once the boys were in high school. Even after Art's passing in 1990, Georgia kept "Mrs. Ragole's Brownies" and apple pies coming to family and friends.
