Mary Culliford (married name Barrow) was the maternal grandmother of novelist Charles Dickens. Born in Lambeth, London, she was the daughter of Thomas Culliford, a piano and harpsichord maker, and Mary Goldsworth. Mary married Charles Barrow in 1788 in Lambeth, with whom she had 10 children.
