Gretna A. Lovelace (Granny) went to meet her Heavenly Father on August 30, 2021.

Gretna was born July 6, 1931.

She lived in San Angelo and retired in 1996 after 40 years in nursing as an RN.

Her life was devoted to serving God, family and always helping others.

She was a member of Johnson Street Church of Christ. Her passion was at Rust Street Ministries and served as a volunteer for many years.

Gretna was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Elsie Clark.

Survivors include her sons Bobby Lovelace and Charlie Lovelace and wife Vicci, grandchildren Josh Lovelace (Arion), Ashley Holland (Zach), Shelby Adame (Richard) and Ricky Lovelace and 8 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Solaris Hospice for their compassion and care for Granny during her illness. They also wish to thank all of the friends, family and ESC Region 15 for all of the support, encouragement and prayers during this time.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Johnson's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Rust Street Ministries.

Pallbearers will be Josh Lovelace, Joshua Lovelace, Jr., Ricky Lovelace, Rick Daniell, Bryan Pilgrim and Bryan Elliott.
