John Andrew Doty, 73, of 450 San Pablo Ave., a retired appliance salesman, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of Louisiana, Mo., he lived in Fresno County 38 years. He retired in 1956 after working many years for the Chicago Furniture Co.
He was a former member of the Sun Garden Masonic Lodge No. 530 in Fresno.
Surviving are his widow, Daisy Mae; a sister, Mrs. Nannie Lawrence, and a brother, Albert Lawrence, both of Louisiana, Mo.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Orr's Colonial Chapel. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemtery.
