The Idaho Post, Moscow, Idaho, August 16, 1918: "Ada Juanita Barnes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Barnes, died yesterday evening of tuberculosis. She was born in Nebraska on February 15, 1897. The family have lived in Moscow for 11 years. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon. The young lady was well and favorably known in a wide circle in and near Moscow. Her father, John F. Barnes, is with the Standard Lumber company."
