Maryland Deaths
MRS. AMANDA HAHN
Mrs. Amanda Hahn, widow of Abraham J. Hahn, died at her home near Taneytown, last night at 8:45 o'clock. Death was due to heart trouble, Mrs. Hahn having been taken ill while out riding in an automobile last evening. Dr. T. H. Legg, Union Bridge, was summoned. The deceased, a daughter of the late Adam and Lydia Sowers, was aged 82 years. Surviving are five sons, Luther J, Emmitsburg; Neuton J., Keymar; William P., Uniontown; George Clarence, at home, and Charles D. Hahn, Taneytown; four daughters, Mrs. John T. Angel, near Taneytown; Mrs. H. Clinton Bair, Mt. Union; Mrs. Clarence Shaner, Sparrows Point, and Roland Koons, at home; 33 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Her husband died 17 years ago. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon with services at the home at 1:30 oclock. Further services will be held in the Keys-ville Lutheran church. Interment will be made In the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. P. H. Williams will officiate. C. O. Fuss & Son, Taneytown, are the funeral directors.
