Attorney and administrator. Ifshin, a member of the board of directors of the Forward Association, served as general manager and counsel for the Jewish Daily Forward from 1968 to 1969. He also served as vice president and chairman of the council of organizations of the United HIAS Service from 1964 to 1968 and was at various times a member of the executive board of ORT, a vice president of the American Labor ORT, national executive board chairman of the Workmen's Circle, and a vice chairman of the Jewish Labor
Committee.
