Mary E. Myers Rawlins, 87, of Monroe, Ohio, died on December 3, 2004, at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. She was born in Tracy City, Tennessee on August 3, 1917 to parents Oscar Leonard and Luticia (Sweeton) Brown.

Mrs. Rawlins was a pianist and organist. Music was a great part of her life. She was the pianist for the quartet at Tytus Avenue First Church of God for 43 years. Later she attended Towne Blvd. Church of God.

She is survived by four daughters: Ellen (Henry) Banner of Crossville, TN, Judith (Harry) Daniel of Franklin, OH, Patricia (Wayne) Sorrell of Trenton, OH, Linda K. (Dale) Dennis of Carlisle, OH; one son: Jack B. (Sue) Myers of Middletown, OH; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Cecil J. Myers (1981) and Charles Edward Rawlins (1992); brothers, Tillman, Lindsay and Ray Brown; sisters, Julia Mae Wooten, Elizabeth Parvin and Bonnie Bouldin.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Curtis and Reverend Everett Crockett officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2004 from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.

The family thanks Mt. Pleasant, Hyde II staff and Hospice of Dayton for the care given to Mary.
