Leonard Lionel Kelly was a railroad clerk by occupation and a free lance writer. He married Mary Ann (a.k.a. "Minnie") Campbell who was born and raised in Little Harbour, Kings, Prince Edward Island, Canada. They had only one daughter, Dorothy May Kelly (born: 10 Feb 1918, Omaha, Nebraska). The couple lived in both North Platte & Omaha, Nebraska. They were living separately at the time of Leonard's death due to his lung disease. He died at age 36 in Houston, Harris, Texas. His brother, Nate Elliott Kelly (04Mar1884 to 14Aug1965)died in Texas. Parents: William Kelly (1843-1896) & MayBelle V. Glenn (26Aug1860-6May1945)Lufkin,Angelina,TX.

His little sister, Ruth Kelly, (born 12 Nov 1892; died 28 Oct 1898) is buried next to her father, William Griffith Kelly, in the Old Soldier's Rest section of the Glenwood Cemetery, plot #260-247.
