Funeral for Wysonda Stockard, 78, of Crafton was at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Hawkins Funeral Home, with the Revs. Kenneth Wood and Kern Choate officiating. Burial was at Crafton Cemetery.
Stockard died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, in Crafton.
Born Jan. 4, 1929, to Johnny and Lillie Mae Farar Clifton in Newport, she married Nelson C. Stockard April 19, 1947, in Chico. She was a homemaker, a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the New Hope Fellowship in Chico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Carl Wayne Stockard, and her brother, Jesse Clifton.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce McDaniel and her husband, Harold, of Crafton; two sons, Ricky Stockard and wife, Sue, of Crafton and Wendell Stockard of Crafton; four grandchildren, Traci Davidson, Carl McDaniel, Bobby Stockard and Stephanie Salazar; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Sparks of Chico and Nita Ogle of Decatur; and two sisters-in-law, Kay Clifton and Jo Mercer, both of Chico.
Pallbearers were Heath Sparks, Todd Low, Eddie Rogers, Jerry Rogers, Johnny Clifton, Marty Swartfager and Gary Shield.
