Obituary Notice
One week ago last Thursday Mrs. Doty, mother of Mrs. L Foster, of this place: Mrs. H. Emmick, of Salix, and Mrs. F. C. Hills of Sioux City, was taken ill with sickness of the stomach. On Saturday following she had a partial stoke of paralysis. She remained affected by this stroke until last Saturday, when she had another stroke which proved fatal on Monday morning about 2 o'clock. Mrs. Doty was quite old, being 75 years of age. she is well known to the people of this community and of Sioux City. She was a member of the church for many years and lived a devoted life. She leaves no children unmarried. Her husband's death preceded hers by some years. Two deaths within a few days remind us that the aged are passing and that sooner or later every one's time must come.
