He is survived by his wife; his children and their spouses; 12 grandchildren; 10 brothers; four sisters; several nieces and nephews; and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.
The funeral service was held in the Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Samuel Church officiating.
Interment followed in Mosheim Central Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers included the staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice.
