Surviving is are her 3 children, Donald (Sandra) Brink, Connie (Don) Wells, Sam (Marie) Brink, 8 Grandchildren, 10 great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald a sister, Pauline Vickers and 2 brothers, Robert and Eugene.
Florence Eleanor Potter was born May 3, 1924 in Linn County, Iowa near Matsell's Bridge. She was the daughter of Clark and Etta Moyer, Potter. Florence attended the Viola Schools.
She married Donald Brink on July 12, 1941 at Kahoka, Missouri.
Florence worked at the Reliance Shirt Factory in Anamosa and later at the Dime Store.
For 21 years Florence was the Food Supervisor for the Anamosa Community Schools. The couple later operated Dons Leather Shop, a leather crafting business until he retired.
Florence was a member of the First Baptist Church, Anamosa, the ABW Ministries, plus she taught Sunday School for many years, and served on several boards and committees.
She and Don were members of the Red Cedar Leather Guild where she served as the President, and was the first president of the Jones/Linn Food Service Chapter. Florence also helped form the Jones County chapter of the Red Cross in the mid 70's where she helped on many vital committees.
Florence will be greatly missed by those that cherished her.
