This is the son of Lewis and Anna Fisher Chamberlin. They are both buried in the Flemington Baptist Church Graveyard, Flemington, NJ. Lewis died the same year that Jonathan was born. All records were obtained from the NJ State Archives Trenton, NJ. Lewis was a Rev War Patriot.
Catherine Elsie Stothoff was Jonathan's wife. She is also buried next to Jonathan in the same cemetery. Catherine's parents were Hendrick (Henry) Stothoff and Sarah Voorhees. Henry's gravesite has been found to be in the same cemetery as Peter and Mary Voorhees, his father and mother in laws. Henry's parent's were Johannes Gerit Stothoff (Rev War Patriot) and Elsie Onderdonk. Sarah's parents were Peter G. Voorhees (Revolutionary War Patriot) and Mary Boice. They are buried in the old South Middlebush Cemetery in Middlebush, Somerset County, NJ.
