NEWARK NJ - Edward "Nattie" Abram died Sunday, Oct 21, 2001, at his residence in Newark, New Jersey.
Born Aug 30, 1941, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Senious Abram and Delia Pinkney Abram.
He attended the public schools of Sumter County. In his youth he joined Ebenezer Presbyterian Church USA in Dalzell. Later he moved to Newark.
Survivors include two brothers, Junious Abram and Elija Abram both of Sumter; and three sisters, Katie Mar Rembert, Rosa Lee Blanding, both of Sumter, and Mollie Mae Mickens of Irvington NJ.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Arthur and Richard Abram; and three sisters, Dora Abram, Mary Abram, and Thelma Abram Dow Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday in the John Wesley Williams Sr Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy A. Johnson officiating. assisted by the Rev. Sammie Simmons and Minister Albertha Miller.
Burial will follow in Ebenezer Presbyterian Church USA Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Flower bearers will be friends of the family.
The funeral procession will leave at 12:30 pm from the home of his sister, Rosa Lee Blanding, 25 Pine St. in Sumter.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister Rosa Lee Blanding. Williams Funeral Home Inc is in charge of arrangements.
