Cathy L. (Spivey) Featherstone, 61, met Jesus face to face on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
She was born on December 28, 1959, in Tipton to George and Barbara (Griggs) Spivey. Cathy graduated from Tipton High School-Class of 1978. She attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion and graduated as a Registered Nurse from IU Kokomo. She has worked at Miller's Merry Manor in Tipton, Park View Care Center in Elwood, Rawlins House in Pendleton and the Alexandria Care Center. She was affiliated with Grace Holiness Church in Anderson and 9th Street Church of God in New Castle. Cathy had a compassionate and giving heart. She was devoted to her family and the patients she cared for. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends. She was a faithful servant of her Lord and served as a devoted Pastor's wife for several years.

Services honoring Cathy's legacy and faith will take place at 11 am on Monday, August 30, 2021, in the Noffze Funeral Home, 501 North Harrison Street, Alexandria. Rev Logan Westrick will officiate assisted by Pastors Allen Polston and Tim Wiford. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria. The Featherstone family will receive friends at the Noffze Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
