In 1915, Louise Kreuzer, age 20, entered the religious order Sister's of Mercy.

In 1917, Louise Kreuzer took her religious vows and became Sister Sacred Heart.

On the 1920 census, Louise Kreuzer, age 25, was listed as living at the Catholic school, St. Teresa's, located at 1974 Seneca Street., where she worked as an assistant. (She eventually taught 7th & 8th grade here and at St. Peter's school in LeRoy before becoming principal at St. Monica's school in Buffalo).

In 1928, 33 year-old Louise Kreuzer became the director of St. Mercy Hospital's x-ray department on Abbott Road.

In 1948, 53 year-old Sister Sacred Heart was appointed the Administrator of Mercy Hospital.

Was a members of the Sisters of Mercy for 64 years.

Sister Sacred Heart died on January 26, 1979, at age 84, in Our Lady of Mercy Generalate Infirmary in Orchard Park, NY. She was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery.

She was a little stern at times and she was always telling me I looked pale, so I would pinch my cheeks a lot before seeing her.
