Bertie Decker, age 82, of Leitchfield, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Springview Health in Leitchfield.

She was born June 11, 1925. She was a housewife, and attended Blowtown Church and Long Branch Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Decker; her parents, Harvey and Linnie Meredith Decker; one brother, William Decker; and one granddaughter, Susie Saltsman.

She is survived by five sons, Delbert, Harold, Bennie, Jerry and Keith Decker, all of Leitchfield; one daughter, Margaret Saltsman of Leitchfield; four brothers, Woodrow Decker of Hardin Co., Ky., Tony Decker of GA, Lonnie "Tip" Decker of Clarkson, Ky., and Jessie Decker of NC; three sisters, Eva Newton and Mabel Saltsman, both of Grayson Co., and Wanda Dupin of Hardin County. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Walter Cook Cemetery.
