Ronald Dale Battles was born February 20, 1953 in Clifton, TN the son of the late Andrew Chapel and Elva Olivia Blasingame Battles. Mr. Battles was a Carpenter and a member of the Old Union Community Church in Clifton, TN. Mr. Battles departed this life on August 23, 2021 in at the age of 68 Years, 6 Months, and 3 Days.
He is survived by two daughters, Katrina Mills and husband Buz of Waynesboro, TN, and Melinda Dugger and husband Randel of Clifton, TN; a son, Jonathan (Tank) Battles and fiance Tara Williams; a sister, Mary Lou Hardin of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Billy Joe Battles and wife Ermerdean of Clifton, TN, and Jerry Battles and wife Shirley of Clifton, TN; and four grandchildren, Mason Mills, A.C. Mills, Ragan Monetta, Braden Coker.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN, with Jimmy Pickett and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Clifton Cemetery at Clifton, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.
