Mr. Cork was born near Rossville, Ill., March 17, 1874, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cork. He is survived by his widow, Clara May Cork; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Atkinson, Sims, Ill., and Anna Mae, at home; five sons, Robert, of Piper City, Ill., Alford of Evansville, Albert, Roy and Dale, of State Line; six grand children, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were conducted at State Line Methodist church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by Rev. D. E. Noland. Boord and Shelby were in charge. Interment was in Gopher Hill cemetery."-The Covington Republican, Friday, July 8, 1932
