Rosetta "Mae" Morgan, 98, of Barrackville, died Thursday (Nov. 15, 2007) at the Wishing Well Manor in Fairmont. She was born April 5, 1909 at Dunkard Mill Run, Farmington, a daughter of the late Perry and Ivory Williams Bland.Mae was a longtime member of the Oakhurst Church of Christ. She liked to bake cookies and homemade bread and she also liked working in her flower gardens.She is survived by her nine children and their spouses, Richard and Lillian Morgan of White Hall, Dorothy and Fred Shambaugh, Helen and Bob Minor and Betty and Vic Satterfield, all of Fairmont, Charles Morgan of Barrackville, Robert and Glenda Morgan of Oakland, Md., Jerry Morgan of South Carolina, Larry and Lib Morgan of Ohio and Harold and Carol Morgan of Clarksburg; 24 grandchildren: Louise Malackanich, Mary Kaye Guiterrez and Sherry Buffaline, all of Pennsylvania, Richard Morgan II and Matthew Morgan, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Gary Lawrence Musgrave, Susan Cashkeu and Margie Wright and Freddy Shambaugh, all of California, Paul Doug Minor, Karen Leonard and Diana Thompson, all of Fairmont, Bobby Morgan, Jerry Morgan and Terry Morgan, all of Oakland, Md., Tammy Dulin, Chuck Satterfield and Victor Satterfield Jr., all of Fairmont, David Morgan and Crissy Arnold, both of Ohio, Gerrie Michael of Summerville, S.C., Tracie Wood of Mt. Clare and Amber Wood and Joy Thomas of Clarksburg; 44 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Bea Bland and Nancy Bland, Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Morgan; three brothers, Audrey Bland, Thurman Bland Sr. and Harold Bland; two sisters, Gail Osborne and Olive Bainbridge; and four grandchildren.Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington from noon to 3 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Oakhurst Church of Christ, with Evangelist Randy Cook officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Farmington.
