Eula L. Fowler, 74 of Woodbury, GA died, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, GA.
Mrs. Fowler was born October 28, 1946, in Gay, GA the daughter of Edd and Lucille Cato Massengale.
She worked for International Playtex in Manchester, and later retired from the Roosevelt-Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation. She drove a school bus for Meriwether County Board of Education and was the Owner and Operator of Eula's Lakeside Beauty Shop in Woodbury, GA. She was a member of Gospel Mission. Eula enjoyed shopping, painting, and working with flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jody Fowler Gordy, sisters Evelyn Bramlett, Christine Kee, Mary Tidwell, Saleta Marcus, and Elaine Brown, and Doris Massengale Connell, brothers James Massengale and Richard Massengale.
She is survived by her husband Scotty Fowler and son Clint Fowler of Woodbury, GA; sisters Patricia Stephens of Griffin, GA, and Judy Hay of Meansville, GA, brother Hiram Massengale of Griffin, GA; five grandchildren, Tonya Brawner, Scott Gordy, Riley Gordy, Roxanne Fowler and Olivia Fowler and eleven great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fowler will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, 93 Prather Barnes Road, Manchester, GA with interment following in the Meriwether Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
