Daughter of August & Anna (Koch) Hake.
She attended rural school. Olga was the second of seven children and helped work on the family farm. She married Wurnewald (W.E.) Schutte on May 3, 1933 at St. John's Lutheran Church. They farmed together for nine years in rural Madison, Nebraska before purchasing the farm where she still lived south of Leigh, Nebraska.
Olga was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was the Quilting Chairman for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies Aide. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and following the activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
