Robert E. Fazier, 84, of Fredericktown, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was born on March 26, 1937, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Louise (Edwards) Frazier.
Bob graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1956 and soon after joined the United States Army. He was proud to serve his country and became a member of the Joe Cocanour Post #500 of the American Legion in Fredericktown, Ohio. Bob attended Palmyra Church of Christ in Fredericktown. Bob worked for J. B. Foote Foundry Co. in Fredericktown for over 45 years. He also enjoyed his time at Jeld-Wen, and the Fredericktown Parks Department. Bob's hobbies included fishing, woodworking, mowing, but most of all he loved watching his grandkids play sports.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley (Baugher) Frazier; children, Greg (Darla) Frazier, Lisa (Rick) Brown; grandchildren, Todd (Cory) Brown, Lacey (Devin) Fritz, Ali (Levi Rosales) Frazier, Cassidy Frazier; great-grandchildren, Macenzie Brown, Kennadi Liptak, Gannon Liptak, Bexley Fritz; a brother, Jim (Carmen) Frazier; a sister, JoAnn (Bob) Rock; several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by a brother, Delroyce Frazier.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday August 24, 2021, from 4-7 pm with a celebration of life service on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 11 am at the Snyder Funeral Home; 33 E. College Street, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019 with Evangelist Troy Northrop officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
