Janice was born January 14, 1944, in Linden, Texas, to Bernice and Dorothy Echols. She was a homemaker; and a member of Sand Hill Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family fishing, hunting and camping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Solley; a grandson, Brett Solley; and her parents.
She is survived by her three sons, Kirk Solley of Bloomburg, Ross Solley and wife Teresa of Queen City, Scott Solley of Bloomburg; a brother, Robert Echols of Longview; sisters, Sonja Jones of McLeod, Jo Anthony of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Chad Solley, Tara Solley, David Solley, Kristen Solley; and a number of great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Cass Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Ronnie Raines officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
