Finally, she received her teaching credential from San Jose State and started teaching in Cupertino Union School District. She served there for 27 years, retiring in 1989. Marge traveled all over the US and the world. She enjoyed quilting, flower arranging, and gardening, all of which she won awards for her ability, expertise, and creativity in design.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Jeanne Gonzales; three grandchildren: Cari (Shannon) Bruzelius, Todd (Heather) Dado, and Janet (Chris) Bernardi, six great-grandchildren and one more on the way; her brother, David Summers; and her sister, Susan (Yogi) Towne. She was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Dado.
Friends and family are welcomed to attend a celebration of Marge's life on June 2nd from 11:00am-12:30pm at Santa Clara Christian Church, 1821 Bowers Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95051. The family invites donations in Marjorie's name to the Arthritis Foundation.
We love our "Grandma Great", and thank God for her life and the time we had with her.
