Mr. Downing is survived by his wife of 61 years Jo Allie Downing, his son Junius Loren Downing of Cross City, his daughter Lauren Kennedy (Michael) of Tallahassee, FL, his sister Diana Chappel of Cross City, his grandchildren Cole Downing (Kandice), Tyler Downing, Wyatt Downing, and Laurie Jo Downing, five great-grandchildren, and other extended family members.
