Barbara Jean Fultz, 76, of Bella Vista, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, Rogers.

She was born Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1944, in Kingston to Berl Truman and Delsa Louise Deatherage.

Barbara married Carroll Gene Fultz on Oct. 3, 1961, in Greenfield, Calif. Growing up, she was not referred to as Barbara Fultz but as Mom. Mom always had a bed and food to eat for everyone she met. She will be sorely missed by all.

A Christian woman in this world is easy recognized, you can tell by looking at her fruits and see it in her eyes. The path she takes is not well used. Her feet are often sore, and yet she goes on walking to share the gospel more. The world is always hurting her to try and slow her down, but she walks with a stronger king who wears a brighter crown. They tell her she must answer for things that she has done. But she just smiles and tells them we'll see when Jesus comes.

Barbara was predisposed in death by her loving husband of 50 years Carroll Gene; siblings, Willa Stroud, Joyce Neal, Jimmy Deatherage; grandchildren, Jessica Stroud, Jonathan Stroud, and Kenny Fultz; and two great-grandchildren.

She has one surviving sister, Glenna Heath of Gravette, Ark.; five surviving children, Laura Lee Foster and Betty Swem of the home, Karen Buth (Chuck) of Bentonville, David Fultz (Kim) and John (Tamara) Fultz of Perryville; 10 grandchildren, Keith Foster, Karl Buth, Krista Bulkeley, Joseph (Rachael) Buth, April (Jerry) Bailey, Jacob (Hannah) Stroud, Samantha Fultz, Levi Fultz, Moriah Fultz, Luke Fultz; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held, Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, at Gobbler Cemetery, Michael Battenfield officiated.

Pallbearers were Levi Fultz, Gabriel Buth, Morgan Buth, Karl Buth, Jaxon Buth, Joseph Buth, Jacob Stroud and Luke Fultz.

Honorary pallbearers were Krista Buth, Keith Foster, Moriah Fultz, Samantha Fultz and April Stroud.

Services were entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
