Cynthia G. Fox Shoemaker, age 72, of D'Iberville, MS, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Cynthia was a native of Biloxi, Ms. She was a lifelong caregiver. She was a gospel recording artist and song writer. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church.
Cynthia spent her life in church ministry. She could always be found working around the church from leading worship music to making potato salad.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert William Fox; her parents Samuel and Lucille Whitehead; her sisters, Eula Pigg, Martha Gibson, and Carolyn Thompson; and her brothers, Winford Whitehead, and CJ Whitehead.

She is survived by her former husband, Wendell Shoemaker; her children Danny Fox (Ashley), and Sharon Fox; her siblings, Gloria Duke, Barbara Ferguson (Darle), Marsha Ellis (Jeff) and Muton Whitehead; her grandchildren, Savannah Fox and Charity Fox; and her sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Hilderbrand (Donnie).

She enjoyed spending time with her family, hosting holidays, and Bible studies from her home. You never left her house hungry and before you left her table you would hear her say, "Plenty, such as it is."

The visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022, beginning at 11:00am until the funeral service at 1:00pm, both at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., Biloxi. Burial will follow in Cruthirds Memorial Cemetery.
