This is how Mark will be remembered by his family and friends - Thank you Bruce
Being the oldest of four, Mark often learned to be protective of himself.his family, and sometimes would extend that favor out to his friends. this trait of his was carried with him the rest of his life.
He always enjoyed watching sporting events and would best be remembered as being a very good baseball player. One year this interest took him to Philadelphia to apply for a job working as a Personal Assistant for the Phillies Baseball club during Spring Training in Florida,. He was later hired
Mark was also a Boxer and spent many years involved in that sport. After his fighting days were finished he continued to train in that sport for many more years. He decided to hang up his gloves when he was in his forties.
Mark also attended many music venues in various parts of the country. He would go at times with a girlfriend or a group of friends.Who ever would best like the music being played.
Mark's ability to protect others was on full display when the state funding that help support his sonJarryd'sdisability was on the chopping block. When he got to the State House he was asked to talk directly to the Massachusetts State Legislation. After Mark had spoke the benefits were saved for anyone who receives them.
Mark was a devoted son, brother, father, friend and advocate for many. He will be missed.
