Tommy R. Boren, age 66, of the Roaring Springs community of Trigg County, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Born July 30, 1955, in Trigg County, he was the son of the late Frank Boren and Lila Wallace Boren. Tommy was a retired farmer and factory worker. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed working around the house and farm, especially tinkering on cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Boren, in 2014; two brothers, Harvey Franklin Boren and Tony Boren; and a sister, Carolyn Joyce Palmer.

He is survived by his son, Benji Boren of Trigg County; his daughter, Amy (Justin) Waters of Fulton, New York; two grandchildren, Jacob Waters and Abigail Waters; two brothers, Larry Boren and Dale (Joy) Boren, both of Trigg County; and two sisters, Linda Armstrong of Hopkinsville and Debbie Palmer of Cadiz.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Funeral services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021. Burial will follow in Boren Cemetery.
