He was found wandering lost, matted, and thin in December 2007. He was taken to a 'no kill' shelter where I later discovered him. He came to his new home on February 8, 2008, and lived happily (or at least it seemed...) until his health finally failed in 2019, and was sent to kitty heaven. He probably was about 19 years old at that time.
He was a good friend. He always looked to see who had come in the house, and was not afraid of strangers. He seemed to be aware when his picture was being taken by his pet sitter, and would strike a handsome pose.
He is still missed dearly. I have kept pieces of his soft fur, and those pieces will accompany me to my grave.
