Rev. Jim Argue 85, Springfield, MO passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, after a long illness. He was born on May 25, 1936, in Niagara Falls, NY. to Andrew Watson and Hazel Belle (May) Argue. He attended Kings Garden High School in Seattle, WA and graduated from Central Bible College, in Springfield, MO. He had been an Assemblies of God Minister, for 65 years. On August 29, 1958, he was united in marriage to Gloria Shows, in Natchez, MS.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Watson Argue Jr. and his wife Pat. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, and their children: Randy Argue (Michelle) and Debbie Argue Pedde (David) and eight grandchildren: Devin Pedde, Garrett Pedde, Brennan Pedde, Taylor Pedde, Alannah Pedde, Lauren Argue Spraker, Lindsey Argue, and Colin Argue, great-grandchildren: Selah, Isla, August, and Atticus, and one brother: Don Argue and his wife Pat. He is also survived by his six nieces and five nephews.
Graveside services will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. A Memorial service will also be held at 2:00 p.m. at Central Assembly of God Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mercy Ships Ministries at www.mercyships.org.
