Warren was born August 13, 1949, in Marion, Kansas to Albert D. and Erma Agnes Hart.
He grew up in Marion, Kansas and graduated from Marion High School.
Warren would go on to attend the School of the Ozarks and graduated with a bachelor's degree in religious history.
He taught briefly for one year after college and decided to enlist in the United States Air Force. Warren served his country honorably for over 20 years starting out as a medic and then eventually working in the contracting office.
He retired from active duty in 1994. Warren would continue his career serving for the Department of Defense for another 20 years officially retiring in 2016.
Warren married Mary Helen Rudolph on December 29, 1978, and they shared 42 beautiful years together.
Warren was a history buff. He loved learning about church history of all faiths. He also loved reading and learning about trains and collecting model trains. In his travels, he would often seek out places to watch and learn about current trains and train stations and their history.
Warren was a loving son, brother and husband and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Faith Hiebert, and his brother Sherman Kelsey.
Warren is survived by his wife, Mary H. Hart, of San Angelo; his sister, Twyla Ro Bullock and her husband Clyde, of Eufaula, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
The Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mack Roller officiating. The graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas.
