Funeral services were held Thursday at the family home here with Rev. Frank Richardson in charge for Mrs. Belle NcNease, who passed away at her home on Wednesday, Burial was at Malden with Duncan Service.
Mrs. McNease, who was 80 years of age, was born at Mt. Vernon, Ill, where she was married to her first husband. They were the parents of six children, five of whom attended the funeral services. There are also a number of grandchildren.
Mrs. McNease came to Bernie after the death of her first husband and was married to "Dad" Blake, a pioneer citizen, who died several years ago. Later she was married to James McNease, who died last Janurary. Mrs. McNease was a member of the General Baptist church here for several years.
