Mr. James Robert Spradley, 52 of Blackshear, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 (his birthday), at Memorial Satilla Hospital.
Born in Blackshear, GA on August 16, 1969, he had lived in Pierce & Camden Counties all of his life. Mr. Spradley had worked in the landscaping business on Jekyll Island for a number of years before going to work in the logging business as a skidder driver. He loved to work on his golf cart and had enjoyed hunting in his younger days.
He was a son of the late Morris Albert Spradley. He was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Angela Marie Coleman.
Survivors include three sons, Zachary (Shay) Head of Brantley Co., Robert Codey (Brooke) Spradley of Las Vegas, and Joseph Spradley of Jacksonville; his mother, Barbra Anna Keene Spradley of Nahunta; two sisters, Rebecca (Frankie) Barnett of Blackshear and Amanda (Seymour) Groover of Browntown; three brothers, William Keene of Jesup, Gerald Keene of Brantley County, and Daniel (Tonya) Keene of Camden Co.; 3 grandchildren, Dae Head, Kaden Head, and Wesley Head; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
As per Mr. Spradley's wishes, memorialization will be by cremation.
