Carl Dean Byrom, Cape Fair, MO, son of Otto and Dolly E (Blair) Byrom, was born on October 17, 1934 in Cape Fair, MO and departed this life on August 13, 2021, at the age of 86.

Dean was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a rural mail carrier for twenty five years out of Galena, MO, Table Rock Lake fishing guide for several years, farmed and raised beef cows for several years and a song leader for sixty years at Cape Fair Church of Christ, Cape Fair, MO. Dean was devoted to his family and church. He never knew a stranger and loved children.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bob Byrom; sister, Wanda Gold, and her husband, Archie Gold and two nieces, Karen Gold and Deana Benton.

Survivors include: a sister, Sue Fulp and her husband, Gary of Mt Vernon, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 in Cape Fair Church of Christ, Cape Fair, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Johnny Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Cape Fair Cemetery under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
