Records reveal that he never received any Pay.
The Roll Sheet No. 165, shows David Alonzo Pannell died at 16 years of age in the Civil War; but did not live long enough to draw Pay.
He was the son of Minor Walter Pannell and Mary Ellen Floyd Pannell.
They are buried at Crossroads Cemetery, Booneville, Prentiss County, Miss.
