June C. Capps, 75, died May 2, 1999, at a Norfolk hospital.
Born in Norfolk, she was retired from The Virginian-Pilot and Ledger-Star and was a member of Indian River Baptist Church.
The widow of Jesse Capps, she is survived by two sons, Albert J. Capps Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Chantilly, Va., and Robert L. Capps of West Chester, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Albert Capps III, Travis Capps, Carrie Capps, Jessica Rinck, Christina Levy, Robert Capps Jr. and Traci Capps; and a great-grandson, Austin Levy.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Robert Jordan. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Indian River Baptist Church Renovation Fund. "
