Nellie "Edith" Yates , age 75, of Del Rio, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a loving mother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roby and Ollie Yates; sisters Bernice Stokely and Mae Ellen Evans; and brothers Eugene Yates and Edmond Yates.
She is survived by her daughters Brenda Walker (James), Joy Burchfield (Mike), and Joan Hux; sons Ricky Stokely, Michael Stokely and Gary Stokely; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers Sherill Yates (Mickey), Olen Yates (Mary) and Jerry Yates; sister Janice Yates; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery (Deep Gap).
