Thelma Luetna Armstrong, 86, died June 26, 1999 at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home in Fredericktown, Mo. She was born July 6, 1912 in Indian Mound, TN., daughter of the late William and Hattie Green.
Preceding her in death was her, first husband, Chester Ijames.
Thelma was married to Harvel Armstrong Sept. 12, 1990 at Piggott, Ark. and he survives. Also surviving are one brother, Claude Green of Granite City, IL.; two sisters, Hazel Bloodworth of Festus, Mo. and Virginia Compton of San Jose, Calif.
Thelma loved church, reading and flowers. She was a member of Calvary Temple in Fredericktown.
Services, under the direction of Follis-Sonderman Funeral Home, were held June 28, 1999 at Calvary Temple officiated by Carl Cureton. Interment was at The Masonic Cemetery in Piedmont.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Bloodworth, Kevin Bloodworth, David Bloodworth, Ron Yates, William Armstrong and George Fry.
