Lone Grove - Funeral Services for Jaetyn Michael Cameron, 17, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ardmore with Rev. David Gardner, Bro. Johnny Tynes and Coach Tyler Pybus officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Jaetyn was born on March 25, 2004 in Ardmore to Chris Cameron and Deanna Baker. He departed this life on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Sulphur.

He attended Lone Grove HS and was about to begin his senior year. Jaetyn was a simple man, down to earth kid with a million dollar smile that could light up the room. He turned heads with his piercing blue eyes and curly, "early Blake Shelton" mullet. He was easy to please and always willing to help anyone out.

Jaetyn was an outdoorsman, a welder, and loved hunting. His passion was duck hunting with Ryder and his buddies. He loved baseball and was so excited to play his senior year with his little brother and teammates. He had big plans to pester his brother who is a freshman this year. He often joked about how he would embarrass him in the hallway and in front of the school. He loved his brothers and was their protector.

Jaetyn spent this summer working with Cole for Jeremy and Brandon, welding for his uncle Brian, helping his dad. He was a hard worker and very dependable. If he said he would be there, he was there. He had the best summer making memories at the lake with his girlfriend Tallie, his buddy Cole and Cole's girlfriend Marlee. He listened to Red Dirt Music and took great pride in his truck, the muddier the better.

Jaetyn's heart was pure as gold. He was the sweetest, most soft spoken young man and loved his family and friends. He was his mom's pride and joy from the moment he took his first breath and his little brothers thought he hung the moon.

Jaetyn is survived by his father, Chris Cameron, his mother Deanna and Jeremy Roy; brothers, Ryder Cameron and Kinsler Roy; Great grandma, Doris Baker; Grandparents, Dennis Baker and wife Gail, Randy and Lawania Denham, Randall and Linda Roy, Cindi and Ronny Howton; special great aunt, Brenda Norton; uncles, Brian Baker, Chad and wife Lauren Roy, John Cameron, Cory smith, Jamie Shanks; aunts, Myka Lefler and husband Brandon, and Jennifer and husband Jeramy Feronti, Melissa Cameron and a host of special cousins and other family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Cameron, Great Grandfather, Alvin Smith, Maternal great grandparents, Dalphus and Pansy Norton

Casket Bearers are Brian Baker, Tristan Baker, Jackson Grace, Braylon Taylor, Dawson Pickens, Ryder Cameron and Blayde Wilkerson.

Honorary bearers are the members of the Lone Grove Senior Class of 2022 and the Lone Grove Baseball Team.
