Alfred M. Beltz, 73, McClean Ave, died Tuesday March 7, 1989 at Veteran's Memorial Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin.
He was born April 2, 1915 to William and Anna (Zimmerman) Beltz in Tomah.
He married Eunice R. Vincenz, November 30, 1945. They farmed in Bear Creak until 1977, when they moved to Tomah. His wife Eunice died November 1, 1987.
Beltz was an Army veteran serving from 1942 to 1945, and a member of Curtiss-McNutt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 201. He was also a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Raddle and Diane Pitel, six grandchildren, three sisters, Mamie Schroeder, Minnie Rutlin, and Nina Rutlin.
In addition to his wifeand parents, he was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter, and his twin brother.
Services will be at 1p.m.Friday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Reverend Kenneth Gast will officiate. Burial with military honors by VFW post 1382 will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday evening at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home from 4 to 9, and at the church from noon to 1p.m.
