Eleanor Elizabeth Baars, age 93, of Alexandria, Kentucky, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on August 11, 2021. She was born in Alexandria on September 2, 1927, the daughter of Albert and Eleanor Corey Karlen. She had worked for Libby Glass. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Highland Heights.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Kenneth Baars; and a son, David Baars. She is survived by: a daughter, Kathy Wycafka; five grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately following services in Alexandria Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
