He was an inspector for National Cash Register where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of VFW Post 3809 and American Legion Post 218.
Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by one daughter: Brenda (Ron) Smither of Lebanon; three sons: Daniel C. Bashaw of Martinsville, Donald E. (Gayle) Bashaw of Lebanon and Larry E. (Grace) Bashaw of Doniphan, Missouri; Stepson, Rod (Juanita) Montgomery of Middletown; 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. with Reverend Robert Clark officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
