Charles Albert Cameron was born to Walter James Cameron and Endella Frances Fife, March 12, 1919. He lived his growing up years in Warren and Madison Counties near Winterset in Iowa. In 1937 he joined the Navy. July 13, 1944 he married Nancy Lucille Corritore in Winterset, Iowa. Per his obituary from the San Francisco Chronicle, after he left the service he moved to San Francisco, California. He was a Milkman for 25 years and a teamster for 35 years. He and wife Nancy of 60 years had six children. After retirement he was active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. John the Evangelist Parish. Charles was an avid Gardener and Fisherman.
