Anna Mae Cosgrove of Elmira Heights, age 97, passed away on Tues. Aug. 10, 2021 surrounded by her family after living a long and full life. Born on July 10, 1924 in Elmira, daughter of the late, Harry & Florence Wheeler Paulman. In 1948, Anna married the love of her life, Harold Cosgrove, he predeceased her on July 18, 2000. A lady of many talents, Anna was employed by Howell Packaging, the Hallmark Company and volunteered at Arnot Ogden and Elcor Health Services. Her interests included, cooking, baking and most of all spending time with her beloved family. Anna is survived by loving children, Cathy Nevone, Thomas Cosgrove and Timothy Cosgrove, all of Elmira; son-in-law, Tom Root, Pine City; 7 grandchildren, Greg (Dorothy) Smith, Kristen (Jim) Leonard, Tia (John) Kachuroi, Christopher Bennett, Briana (Joey) Griffin, Shayna (Zack) Cornish and Justin Cornish; 6 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Alissa, Christopher, Alexander, Melakih, and Marcello; 13 great great grandchildren, Kaden, Cameron, Madalynn, Reagan, Colton, Cooper Mason, Jeremy, Jackson, Zachary, Olivia, Emma, and Noah; a special friend whom she loved like a daughter, Betty Kachuroi; and her loving canine companion, "Honey Bear". In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was predeceased a son, Terrance Cosgrove; a daughter, Linda Root; great grandson, Matthew; siblings, George (Julia) Paulman, Dorothy (Gerald) Brace, Marjorie Hetherington, Helen (Bernard) Cosgrove and Louise (Harry) Van Houten.
