Daniel "Danny" Werden Davenport, born July 5, 1941 in Leesburg, Florida, died July 25, 2021.

Danny grew up in Fruitland Park, the son of Harold and Eileen Davenport. He was a member of the Leesburg High School class of 1959.

Danny was a veteran of the U.S. Army (1963-1965) and served in Korea in the DMZ. He followed his grandfather, Werden Green's vocation as a licensed electrician and worked as an independent electrical contractor his entire career. He was a member of the IBEW.

A lifelong Floridian, he spent many years traveling for work and retired to Hypoluxo, Florida.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Davenport Hatfield. He is survived by his sisters Sylvia Davenport White (Lon) and Dixie Davenport Fechtel (Vince), and nephews and nieces, Bradley White (Cheri), Elizabeth "Beth" White (Allen), Heidi Hatfield Edwards (Ric), Franklin "Trey" Hatfield, Shanley Hatfield (Lesley), Elizabeth Fechtel Yawman (Dan), and MaryKatherine Fechtel Black (Justin).

The Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
