DEATHS - Harry H. Wood "Harry H. Wood 77, died suddenly Sunday at 2 a.m. at his home on Hedgesville, Rt. 2. He was a retired employee of Continental Clay Products Company at North Mountain.
A native of the county, he was born on Mar. 26 1881 [should be 1883], a son of the late Richard and Tena E. [should be A.] Shriver Wood.
Surviving are: three sons - Roy D., Hedgesville, Rt.2; Paul, Pennsylvania avenue; Boyd, with the Air Force at Spokane, Wash.; two daughters - Mrs. Herbert Householder, of Florida; Mrs. Bernard Keesecker, Hedgesville, Rt. 2; 13 grandchildren; brother Ellsworth Wood, Hedgesville, Rt. 2; and three sisters - Mrs. John Eichelberger, Hedgesville; Mrs. Valley Creek, Hancock, Md.; Mrs. Bettie Lamp, Keyser.
Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. William S. Herrell officiating. Burial will be in Tomahawk Cemetery."
