He had formerly lived in the Riverside community east of Attica and had been a resident of Attica for the past 37 years. He attended Davis School. He worked as a machine operator at Teepak in Danville for 21 years. He had also served in the Army. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica. He loved to hunt mushrooms and the outdoors.
Surviving, besides his wife, are: a daughter, Jennifer (Thomas) Maguire, Attica; a son, Jonathan Snider, Route 3, Covington; a grandson, Jay Edward Snider, Attica; a sister, Rosemary (Stan) Hatke, Crawfordsville; and three brothers, James A. Snider, Belt, Montana, Joseph Snider, Saginaw, Mich. and Francis Snider, Syracuse, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Francis Xavier Church, Attica, with the Rev. Charles Kline officiating. Burial was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Attica.
